TUT Global House activity report (2018 spring semester)

This year, the "GHSC" (Global House Student Committee) was established and eight enthusiastic students joined as its founding members! GHSC has a mission to create a positive and fulfilling multicultural environment for students living in TUT Global House and the wider university, mainly to support and manage residents' activities as well as organize some general events. These eight pioneers have been working hard, enjoying creation of the tradition of the TUT Global House.

In the first half of the 2018 academic year, Global House students hosted a BBQ party and a Summer Festival. On the day of the festival, around 60 people including students from Aichi University and members of the Toyohashi Brazilian community participated, deepening interactions between those on and off the campus.

Coming event

RecogNight

GHSC will present a social gathering with local companies, "RecogNight". In the event, participants recognize companies' global strategies, future vision, and their reality, by interacting with company presidents and executives of five companies from the Toyohashi Ironworks Association over a light meal.
