On January 13, a total of 28 GAC and international students went on a field trip to Hikone Castle and Kurokabe Square.

The trip was designed to lean Japanese culture and history by visiting historical places and develop cross-cultural understanding and communication skills by communicating with each other. This field trip was the second time held this year.

At Hikone Castle, the national treasure, students went up to the top of the castle and enjoyed the view from there. At Kurokabe Square, they were able to learn about the history of Japan through the architecture, and they also had the opportunity to try pottery making. Through all activities, students were able to learn various experiences.
