Post date:20/Jul/2023
Mr. Kuniaki Yamashita, who served as an UNESCO staff member and current Advisory Group Member at Sophia University, gave a lecture "Human resources and their development to be active on the global stage" based on his career and spoke about the abilities and qualities required to perform on the global stage and how to cultivate those skills at universities.
On July 12th, the lecture was given in English to 8 GAC students in the Global House. There was a lively question-and-answer session, and Mr. Yamashita answered a variety of questions and concerns, such as whether they should pursue their own specialty or learn various things as a global human resource.
On the following day, the 13th, the lecture was held in Japanese for students, faculty, and staff, as well as faculty and staff from other universities, with a total of about 100 participants in both face-to-face and online sessions.
After the lecture, many students continued to visit Mr. Yamashita and actively interacted with him.
